Our Homeschool Week in Review

We had a blissful few weeks of being virus free. But, alas, all good things must come to an end. We had another cold go through the house this week. It was actually pretty minor as colds go, thankfully.

Being sick translates to extra movies and video game playing. I know I can't concentrate when I'm sick, so I don't expect them to keep up with all their school work while they are sick.

Unfortunately, we are all behind in our Bible in 90 Days reading. We haven't quit, we are still working towards finishing in 90 days.

The kids in Bible Drill are still studying hard, as well. Competitions start in about a month! We really need to spend some time drilling here at home. The extra drill practice really makes a difference when it's time to compete.

We started another puzzle this week. It's a Winnie the Pooh mosaic. Where the big picture is made up of lots of little pictures. It sure looks hard! I'm thinking this one will be taking us awhile!

Our Sabbath meal is almost ready. We like to have a big meal on Friday night to start the Sabbath. Hannah, 15, has become an expert challah bread maker. We don't normally have dessert, but we have started to with our Sabbath meal to give the meal an extra special feel. Abby, 12, made pumpkin pie today. Now, if I can just learn how to say the candle lighting blessing in Hebrew!

A few days ago, I shared a few Homeschool Links. Stop by and take a look.
